We’re back after taking the winter off. It’s time to start planning our your projects for the year. We’ve provided some information on what to look for and how we can fix your damages.

Your Spring Checklist

Rainfall, warmer temperatures, birds chirping, and flowers blooming. Spring is a transitional season that gives us a wide variety of temperatures and precipitation. Although we may not always be prepared for the troubles that Spring slowly reveals to us, there are ways to identify the problem so you can effectively fix the problem.

Here is a short checklist of what to look for:

Cracks – If you have cracks in your asphalt, the best way to take care of this is to have them filled. Asphalt expands and contracts when the temperatures change. This causes friction which will cause cracking. Crack filling is when we come out, clean your asphalt, then fill them with hot tar. Potholes – With potholes the best way to fix them is to completely rip out the asphalt, fix the base, then lay in new hot mix asphalt. Although our process for patch work may be more than others, we believe in doing things the right way. This will end up making your dollar last a lot longer than doing the less expensive fix. A temporary fix could be cold mix asphalt, but why spend money on something that won’t last. More on patching potholes HERE

Dirty Parking Lot – It is also a good idea to begin your year with a clean parking lot. Winter tends to leave a lot of garbage and debris behind after the snow melts. Your parking lot is the first thing your customers will see giving them their first impression of your business.
